My StickK challenge begins tomorrow. I’ve just updated my deadlines for that week:
Due: 24th of June
1. Finish reading Stoic Quotes
2. Print selected Stoic Quotes
3. Do first Street Notes assignment on Wednesday 22nd or Thursday 23rd.
I’m looking forward to it, and frankly, sort of excited that I’ve got some stakes and deadlines in there to keep me on track.
You’ll notice the lack of an item due for the jobs project, and this is for a somewhat valid reason. On occasion, I’m going to have to keep my expectations of what is possible realistic, in order to ensure I’m not as likely to fail.
I know that this sounds like a cop out, and, while writing this it perhaps feels like one, but other things in my life are moving around, and time does need to be spent working on those as well as photography. Importantly though, a street assignment from Eric Kim will be in every week regardless of what else is going on. That I can, and will fit in.
All our efforts must be directed towards an end, or we will act in vain. If it is not the right end, we will fail utterly
